Very good vintage condition. 8/10

The metallic textile remains vibrant and beautifully reflective with the intricate woven pattern well preserved. There is light age-related wear to the textile, particularly along the edges, corners and flap, including minor loose fibers/fraying consistent with the delicate nature of the material.

The gold-tone crest and rope chain present beautifully with light vintage wear. Interior shows normal signs of previous use and scattered light surface wear. Overall structure remains very good.

Before the quiet-luxury minimalism most people associate with Celine today, the House produced extraordinarily decorative evening pieces—and this one has everything I look for in vintage: unusual fabrication, recognizable house detailing and a silhouette you aren't likely to see on everyone else.

The metallic brocade is what makes it. In photographs it's beautiful; in movement, it absolutely sparkles. Add the sculptural rope chain and tiny Celine crest and it becomes less of an everyday handbag and more of an archival evening piece.

And at just under 8 inches wide with a 19.25-inch drop, it has that petite vintage scale that feels incredibly current again.
