Released in 2006, the Louis Vuitton Monogram Perforated collection transformed the house's traditional coated canvas by literally perforating the Monogram with hundreds of tiny openings, allowing flashes of vivid color to appear beneath the surface.
This Speedy 30 features the coveted green colorway, with bright green accents peeking through the perforations, a green-trimmed exterior pocket and coordinating green zipper pull. Condition Report
This piece presents in very good vintage condition, especially considering its 2006 production.
The Monogram coated canvas appears strong and well preserved with the perforated detailing remaining crisp throughout. The green underlay provides excellent contrast and remains vibrant.
The Vachetta leather has developed a warm honey patina with visible darkening and wear to the handles, particularly along the undersides and areas of frequent contact. There is additional patina and light wear to the leather piping and handle tabs consistent with age and use.
Gold-tone hardware shows light surface scratching and age-related wear. The green leather accents remain vibrant with light signs of use. Overall structure is nicely maintained.

Curators Perspective
This is the kind of Louis Vuitton I would buy before another ordinary Monogram Speedy.
Why? Because you aren't really buying a Speedy—you are buying a specific moment in Louis Vuitton history.
The classic Speedy will always exist. This version won't.
The perforated Monogram, flashes of green, exterior pocket and unmistakable 2000s design language turn one of Louis Vuitton's most familiar silhouettes into something completely different. And because it's still a Speedy 30 underneath all of that, you're getting a genuinely functional bag rather than a collector piece that spends its life on a shelf.
For me, limited-edition Louis Vuitton gets much more interesting when the design is immediately identifiable without needing someone to tell you it's limited edition.
