What makes this example particularly special is the material treatment. The rich calf hair gives the Amazona an almost velvety depth, while the oversized Anagram is worked directly into the hair at the center of the bag rather than relying on prominent metal branding. The leather corner reinforcements, sculptural piping, engraved zipper pulls and Loewe padlock give it the craftsmanship-heavy character associated with earlier Amazona designs. Condition Report

Good vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age and use 7.8/10. The burgundy calf hair remains rich and full across much of the front and back, with natural directional variation in the pile. There are areas of noticeable hair loss/thinning, particularly around the side panels near the zipper and upper edges, including several exposed lighter patches.

The red leather trim shows rubbing, scuffing, creasing, edge wear and finish loss, most noticeably along the piping, handles, handle edges, corners and base. The bottom leather panel has scratches and surface marks. Gold-tone hardware shows scratching, darkening and patina. The handles remain structured with visible wear along their edges. Interior textile lining shows light marks and signs of use.

The saturated burgundy calf hair, tonal red leather and aged hardware give it a distinctly vintage character, while the 28 size keeps it practical.
