Crafted in black quilted leather, the structured silhouette features two separate front compartments, each finished with its own gold-tone interlocking CC turnlock. The oversized upper flap paired with the smaller exterior pocket creates a distinctive layered look—classic Chanel, but far from the Classic Flap everyone already knows.

The wide leather shoulder strap and boxier proportions give this piece a strong 1990s archival feel that looks remarkably current today.

Condition Report

Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The black leather retains a beautiful sheen and the quilting remains defined. There is light creasing, surface wear and rubbing throughout, with more noticeable wear around the edges, corners and exterior pocket. The wide leather shoulder strap shows gentle creasing and signs of use. Gold-tone CC hardware remains bright and provides beautiful contrast against the black leather.

Not another Classic Flap—but a piece that immediately tells you what era it came from. The double CC turnlocks, exaggerated quilting, wide shoulder strap and stacked-pocket construction give it that unmistakable mid-90s Chanel attitude.

And 1996–1997 is an especially desirable period for collectors: Lagerfeld-era Chanel when the designs were bold, recognizable and often wonderfully unconventional.
