Condition Report
Very good vintage condition with beautiful age-related character.
The burgundy lambskin remains supple with a rich, deep color. There is visible creasing and softening throughout the quilting, along with light surface scratches, rubbing and finish variation consistent with a bag more than three decades old. Light wear is visible along the piping and edges.
The tassel remains full and intact, and the 24K gold-plated hardware retains an especially bright, saturated gold finish. The leather-woven chain presents beautifully. Interior shows normal signs of previous use.

This one is special.
The burgundy alone makes it more interesting than the black versions we typically see, but it's the shape + tassel + 24K hardware combination that gives this bag its collector appeal.
It also captures a very specific moment in Chanel history. Comparable authenticated camera bags from the 1989–1991 collection are documented by The RealReal, while Fashionphile identifies a 1991 version with the same 7.25-inch width and long tassel construction.
And unlike a Classic Flap, this is a piece you're simply not going to see everywhere.
