This is Chanel doing the mini flap differently.
Crafted in 2023, this petite flap pairs classic black quilted leather with contrasting beige leather trim, creating a graphic framed effect around the front flap and body. The familiar diamond quilting and CC closure keep it unmistakably Chanel, while the two-tone treatment gives the bag a much less expected look than a traditional black mini.

The black quilted leather retains attractive structure and definition throughout. Light surface wear and gentle creasing are visible consistent with previous use. The contrasting beige leather trim shows visible discoloration, rubbing and signs of wear, particularly along the trim and within the leather woven through the chain.
The black leather edging shows light rubbing and wear in areas. Gold-tone hardware remains bright overall with minor surface wear. The interior presents cleanly with light signs of use.
Please review all detailed photographs, particularly the beige trim and chain leather, as these areas show the most noticeable wear.

Curators Perspective
This is exactly why I don't automatically choose the “classic” version of a Chanel bag.
A black Chanel mini is beautiful—but there are plenty of them. This one has personality.
The beige framing completely changes the architecture of the bag. It highlights the curved flap, exaggerates the quilting and almost makes the entire bag look outlined. At only 6.6 inches, it is tiny, but visually it doesn't disappear.
And the 22-inch drop is a major plus. This isn't one of those adorable minis that looks great until you realize the strap doesn't work. It gives you a true crossbody option while still feeling polished enough for evening.
For the collector who already owns traditional Chanel, I'd choose the unusual two-tone version every time.
