Good vintage/pre-owned condition with visible character and wear. 8/10

The caviar leather shows overall creasing, surface wear, rubbing and areas of color variation, particularly along the flap edges, piping, corners and high-contact areas. The quilting remains defined and the bag retains its relaxed structure. Hardware displays expected surface wear and patina consistent with age and use.

Curator’s Perspective

This is one of those Chanel bags that gets better because it doesn’t look perfect.

The distressed brown caviar, aged hardware and relaxed silhouette give it that worn-in Chanel look collectors are increasingly drawn to. It carries the recognizable house codes—diamond quilting, chain strap and CC turn-lock—but feels much less expected than a traditional Classic Flap.

And this isn't simply a generic brown Chanel flap: comparable Shiva examples from this period are documented with the same aged gold hardware, quilted caviar and 18.5" long strap drop.

A great choice for the collector who wants Chanel heritage without carrying the bag everyone else has.
