Condition Report
This Campana presents in good pre-owned condition with visible signs of wear consistent with use.
The woven leather remains supple and beautifully relaxed, with natural creasing, variations in texture and areas of rubbing throughout. The most notable exterior wear is concentrated along the lower corners, edges and base of the bag, where rubbing and surface wear are visible. There is also wear along portions of the Intrecciato weave and some softening consistent with the bag's naturally unstructured construction.
The shoulder straps show creasing and normal wear from handling while remaining functional.
The light suede interior shows visible discoloration, marks and signs of previous use, particularly within the pockets and along areas of the lining. Please review all photographs closely as they form an important part of the condition description.

Curators Perspective
This is the kind of Bottega I think deserves far more attention on the vintage market.
The Campana comes from an era when Bottega's identity was almost entirely about leather, craftsmanship and discretion. No oversized logo was necessary—the Intrecciato was the signature.
And in this large size, the proportions are fantastic. It has enough presence to make an outfit, but the soft construction prevents it from feeling like an oversized structured tote. Once it's on the shoulder, the leather collapses into that effortless slouch Bottega does so well.
The chocolate brown is another reason I love this particular example. It feels distinctly archival while working beautifully with denim, neutrals, black and fall layering.
For the collector who wants old-school Bottega rather than obvious branding, this is exactly the point.
